Justin Gengler is a political scientist who studies political development, identity politics, and survey research methods in the Middle East, with a focus on the Arab Gulf states. He is the author of Group Conflict and Political Mobilization in Bahrain and the Arab Gulf (Indiana, 2015) as well as recent or forthcoming publications in the Middle East Journal, British Journal of Political Science, Political Behavior, and Comparative Politics. He is currently Assistant Research Professor at the Social and Economic Survey Research Institute at Qatar University.
