Ana Maria Kumarasamy is a PhD student in International Relations at Lancaster University. In her PhD she is exploring how forced migration in the Levant is affected by environmental degradation, political instability and sovereign power. Her research interests include topics such as demographic changes, environmental challenges and sovereign power in the Levant.
